Each engine gets its own performance chip: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per performance chip and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone isn’t enough: in this generation, the same engine came with different horsepower ratings, each with its own calibration. Check the horsepower in your owner’s manual or vehicle documents and find the matching row.
Same badge, different factory power outputs in this generation:
Chevrolet Captiva tune: what changes
The module plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. It never rewrites your ECU software: your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Chevrolet Captiva special
Chevy Captiva Sport tune: the 2.2 D 184 hp and the gas engines
In the U.S., this SUV was sold as the Chevrolet Captiva Sport for the 2012 to 2015 model years, and it is no longer sold new. The U.S. Captiva Sport is a gas SUV, so the diesel rows below are not U.S. factory engines. The diesel that counts most in the Captiva range is the 2.2 D with 184 hp, 400 Nm and four-wheel drive, built from February 2011 to September 2018.
Everything depends on the engine generation, since the February 2011 facelift changed the engines; the diesels take the GAN GT. The 2.0 VCDI from VM Motori gave way to the 2.2 D: 163 hp and 350 Nm with two-wheel drive, 184 hp and 400 Nm with four-wheel drive. Every version has its own output, so match the module to the year and the output together.
The gas engines
The gas Captiva had a 2.4 at 136 hp first and 167 hp from 2011, plus a V6: the 3.2 at 230 hp, later replaced by a 3.0 at 258 hp. The catalog lists the 3.2 V6 at 230 hp and 297 Nm and the 3.0 V6 at 258 hp and 288 Nm, and both take the GAN GA+. Neither V6 came with anything but four-wheel drive. The V6 rows at 249 hp and 264 hp, and the 3.6-liter rows, are for cars sold outside Europe.
The U.S. 3.0L V6 is rated at 264 hp, the same hp figure as the 3.0i 264 row. The U.S. 2.4L four-cylinder is rated at 182 hp (180 hp for 2015), which fits neither the 136 hp nor the 167 hp row, so this engine has no row in the catalog yet. Pick the module by engine and output, not by platform.
Chevrolet Captiva tuning FAQ
What does a Captiva 2.2 D 184 hp tune add?
The GAN GT takes the 184 hp, 400 Nm diesel to 236 hp and 505 Nm. Every diesel of this model takes the GAN GT, which is rated at up to 30% more power. Those are rated gains for the engine type, not dyno results from your car.
Captiva 2.2 D at 163 or 184 hp: which one is mine?
Drive layout and output separate them: the 163 hp car is two-wheel drive, the 184 hp car four-wheel drive. The GAN GT fits both, as it does the earlier 2.0 VCDI cars.
Is there a Captiva Sport performance chip for the 2.4 and the V6 gas engines?
Yes, the 2.4 and the V6 engines take the GAN GA+, rated at up to 12% more power on naturally aspirated engines.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
