How much power do the 1.6 VTi 120 and the 1.6 THP 156 gain, and which GAN performance chip does each take?
For the VTi, which is naturally aspirated, use the GAN GA+. For the THP, use the GAN GT. On the 207, the 1.6 VTi goes from 120 hp and 160 Nm to 134 hp and 179 Nm. The 1.6 THP goes from 156 hp and 240 Nm to 185 hp and 312 Nm. Treat these as the stated gains for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Does the GAN GT fit the 1.6 HDi, the 2.0 HDi and the BlueHDi?
Yes, the GAN GT covers every one of them. Each power output has its own entry in the catalog. Take the 207: its 1.6 HDi comes in 90 and 110 hp versions.
1.2 PureTech 110 and 130 or 1.2 VTi 82: which GAN module fits?
Both PureTech versions, 110 and 130 hp, are turbocharged and take the GAN GT. The 1.2 VTi (82 hp) has no turbo, so it takes the GAN GA+.
Plug-in performance chip or flash tune for a Peugeot HDi?
A flash tune rewrites the factory software. The GAN tuning module leaves it alone and adjusts the engine sensors' signals on their way to the ECU. Checksums, flash counter and factory software stay untouched, and the engine keeps its factory protections. Your factory warranty is preserved. The ECU software never changes, and you can remove the module at any time.

Peugeot engines: what to know before you tune
Peugeot tune: one 1.6 block, two kinds of engine
Peugeot stopped selling cars in the U.S. in 1991, when the 405 left the market, so a Peugeot here is usually a collector car, and newer models are European-market cars. This catalog is European and the 405 has no row in it, so match your engine by code and hp. The clearest example for a Peugeot tuner: the 1.6 VTi (120 hp) and the 1.6 THP (156 hp) share a block but take different GAN modules. Both are Prince-family engines, developed with BMW and first fitted to the 207 in 2006. No turbo on the VTi: it is naturally aspirated and uses variable valve timing and lift. The THP is the turbocharged one.
The 1.2 splits the same way: the 1.2 PureTech (110 and 130 hp) is a turbo, while the 1.2 VTi (82 hp) is naturally aspirated. A step below the 1.6 sits the 1.4 VTi, coded EP3, at 95 hp. Code-wise, the 1.6 VTi is an EP6, and the THP is the same EP6 with letters added: DT, DTS, FDTR and so on. That's how the same 1.6 liters make 120 hp in one Peugeot and 250 hp in another.
Gasoline engine families, by code
Read the code first. A Peugeot engine name is a family name plus an index. Four families cover the gasoline range. TU runs from 1.1 to 1.6, EW is the 2.0, EP is the Prince 1.4 and 1.6, and EB is the three-cylinder PureTech. You'll find the TU in the 206, 306 and 307, and the EW in the 206, 307 and 407.
The three-cylinder PureTech, in 1.0 and 1.2 liters, powers the 208, 308 and 2008. The THP comes in several codes: EP6DT at 150 hp, EP6CDT at 156 hp, EP6DTS at 175 hp and EP6FDTR at 250 and 270 hp. Match the performance chip to the intake. Turbo engines get the GAN GT (up to 30% more power); naturally aspirated VTi and TU engines get the GAN GA+ (up to 12%).

HDi diesels and the sporty models
Peugeot diesels carry the HDi name. DV engines run from 1.4 to 1.6, DW engines are the 2.0 and 2.2. From 2013, the 1.6 and the 2.0 were also sold as BlueHDi. DW10 and DW12 engines end in letters that name the variant, BTED4 and CTED4 among them.
Every HDi and BlueHDi is turbocharged, so the GAN GT is the match. The sporty ones are the 206 RC at 177 hp, the 207 RC at 174 hp and the 308 GTi at 250 and 270 hp. The 308 GT is rated at 205 hp with the 1.6 THP and 180 hp with the 2.0 BlueHDi. Finding your engine takes two steps: pick the model (206, 307, 308 or 208), then the engine code.
