Each engine gets its own performance chip: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per performance chip and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone isn’t enough: in this generation, the same engine came with different horsepower ratings, each with its own calibration. Check the horsepower in your owner’s manual or vehicle documents and find the matching row.

Chevrolet Cruze tune: what changes
The module plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. It never rewrites your ECU software: your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can be removed at any time.

Diesels gain mostly torque: +75 to +97 Nm for towing and hauling.

What makes the Chevrolet Cruze special
Chevy Cruze tune: start with your engine, not the model year
The right GAN module depends on your engine, and the catalog’s Cruze rows cover the European J300, sold from May 2009 to December 2014. In the U.S., Chevrolet sold the Cruze as a compact sedan, added a hatchback late in the run, and discontinued it after the 2019 model year. The European engines are the 2.0 VCDi (125, 150 or 163 hp), the 1.7 TD (110 or 131 hp) and the 1.4 Turbo (140 hp). The U.S. 1.4 turbo is rated at 138 hp on the first generation and 153 hp on the second: the 138 hp engine is the catalog’s 1.4 Turbo ECOTEC row at 140 hp, and the 153 hp engine has no row yet.
The U.S. 1.8 is rated at 136 hp in 2011 and 138 hp from 2012; its row is the catalog’s 1.8i at 141 hp. The gas 1.6 and 1.8 take the GAN GA+. Diesels used mostly for short trips can clog the particulate filter. A tune doesn’t replace a worn part, so have the particulate filter checked before you fit the module.
Chevrolet Cruze tuning FAQ
Chevy Cruze 1.7 TD and 1.4 Turbo: which GAN module fits?
Both take the GAN GT. The catalog lists the 1.7 TD Eco at 110 hp and the 1.4 Turbo ECOTEC at 140 hp. The module doesn’t repair faults. It adjusts the engine sensor signals and leaves the ECU program alone.
What does the GAN GT add to a Cruze 2.0 VCDi diesel?
The 163 hp version goes from its stock 163 hp and 360 Nm to 210 hp and 457 Nm. The 2014–2015 U.S. Cruze Diesel is rated at 151 hp, and the catalog’s 2.0 TD (US spec) row covers it; the 2017–2019 1.6 diesel is rated at 137 hp and has no row yet. Those are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno result for your car. GAN rates the GAN GT at up to 30% more power on turbo engines, and the GAN GA+ at up to 12% on the 1.6 and 1.8 gas engines.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
