Chrysler Pacifica tune: what changes
More power and torque with no ECU flash and no new parts – the module only adjusts the engine sensor signals. Your factory warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Chrysler Pacifica special
Chrysler Pacifica tune: when merging and passing take too long
Pass a slow vehicle with the whole family aboard, and the first-generation Pacifica shows its weight. At about two metric tons, this six-seat crossover is a lot for the 3.5 V6 and its four-speed automatic to move. Two very different cars have carried the Pacifica name, so first make sure which one you drive. The Pacifica on U.S. roads today is the minivan sold since the 2017 model year, in trims such as Touring, Touring L, Limited and Pinnacle.
The crossover was built from 2003 to 2007 and sold through the 2008 model year. The 4.0 V6 with a six-speed automatic arrived for the 2007 model year. Both the 3.5 and the 4.0 have their own rows, and the GAN GA+ fits each.
The three V6 engines
Over the model’s life, three V6 engines were offered: the 3.5, the 3.8 for the front-wheel-drive base car, and the 4.0 from the facelift. New headlights and a three-bar grille arrived with the 4.0, which took over from the 3.5 in 2007. Catalog figures: 3.5i at 253 hp and 339 Nm, 3.8i at 218 hp, 4.0i at 255 hp. Every one of the three is a naturally aspirated V6, and each takes the GAN GA+.
The minivan with the same name
The Pacifica minivan, from the 2017 model year, is an entirely different vehicle with a 3.6 V6. That minivan, not the 2003 to 2008 crossover, owns the 3.6i row at 291 hp and 355 Nm. The U.S. minivan runs a naturally aspirated 3.6L Pentastar V6 rated at 287 hp; that 291 figure is the same engine in metric units, so the 3.6i row is yours. The Pacifica Hybrid, a plug-in with a 3.6L Atkinson-cycle V6 and two electric motors, has no row in the catalog.
Chrysler Pacifica tuning FAQ
Pacifica 3.5 or 4.0 V6: which one is mine?
Look at the engine: 3.5i means the 3.5 V6 at 253 hp and 339 Nm, and 4.0i means the 4.0 V6 at 255 hp. From 2007, facelift cars carry the 4.0 with a six-speed automatic.
What gain can a Pacifica 4.0 expect from a performance chip?
With the GAN GA+, the 4.0i goes from 255 hp to 275 hp. On a naturally aspirated V6, the GAN GA+ is rated at up to 12% more power. Those are rated gains for the engine type, not dyno results from your car.
Is there a Pacifica performance chip for the front-wheel-drive 3.8?
Yes, the 3.8 V6 at 218 hp has its own row and takes the GAN GA+. It was the base engine of the front-wheel-drive car from the 2005 model year.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
