What makes the Holden Commodore special
Holden Commodore tune: in the U.S. it is the Pontiac G8 and the Chevy SS
In the U.S. the Commodore wore other badges: the Pontiac G8, and later the Chevrolet SS, not a Holden badge. The G8 GT's 6.0 L76 V8 is rated at 361 hp (355 hp on later 2009 cars), so compare both that figure and your engine code with the catalog's VE SS 6.0 row. The Chevy SS and the G8 GXP share the naturally aspirated 6.2 LS3 V8 at 415 hp, and that figure has no row in the catalog yet. For a Pontiac G8 tune or a Chevy SS tune, the 6.0 and the 6.2 LS3 differ in factory power, manual availability and tuning potential.
The Commodore ZB of 2018 to 2020 was a rebadged Opel Insignia B, built in Rüsselsheim. The catalog covers Australian engines, such as the 3.6 SIDI V6 at 282 hp and the 6.0 L98 V8 at 362 hp, and both take the GAN GA+, rated at up to 12% more power. Australian names such as VE, VT and SV6 show up in the table.

Holden Commodore tune: what does the GAN GA+ add to the VE SS 6.0 V8?
From 362 hp and 530 Nm, the 6.0 L98 reaches 391 hp and 572 Nm with the GAN GA+. Those are catalog figures for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
SV6 3.6: is the 282 hp SIDI the same engine as the 255 hp Alloytec?
No. The 282 hp SIDI was built in 2009 and 2010, while the 255 hp SV6 has the older Alloytec engine, so each has its own row for the GAN GA+.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
