Not sure which engine you have?

The badge alone isn’t enough: in this generation, the same engine came with different horsepower ratings, each with its own calibration. Check the horsepower in your owner’s manual or vehicle documents and find the matching row.

GAN tuning module for the Hyundai i10

Hyundai i10 tune: what changes

The module plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. It never rewrites your ECU software: your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Hyundai i10 special

Hyundai i10 tune: small engines and one turbo

An i10 tuner can only work with what the engine offers, and most versions are small and naturally aspirated. Hyundai has never sold the i10 in the U.S., so it has no U.S. trims or model years. The N Line 1.0 T-GDI is the single turbocharged engine in the current range. Older i10s run gas engines without a turbo, from 63 to 87 hp.

The N Line's 1.0 T-GDI makes 100 hp until 2024 and 90 hp after that. The 100 hp version has no separate i10 row: the same engine appears as the 1.0 T-GDI of the Kia Cee'd. There is no row for the 90 hp version.

Three generations of the i10

In 2008 to 2013 the first i10 came with a 1.1 (67 hp, later 69 hp) or a 1.2 (77 hp, later 86 hp). On the first-generation 1.1 with 69 hp, the GAN GA+ gives 77 hp and 111 Nm. From November 2013 to 2019 the second generation offered a 1.0 at 67 hp and a 1.25 at 87 hp. From 2019 the third generation has a 1.0 at 67 hp and a 1.2 at 84 hp.

The catalog row labeled 1.3i, with 87 hp and 121 Nm, is the second generation's 1.25, which has 1248 cc. The first generation's diesel was the 1.1 CRDi with 75 hp, sold from March 2008 to January 2010. That diesel is the single engine on this page that takes the GAN GT. Don't confuse it with the Grand i10, a different car built in India and not sold in Europe; its engines are not covered here.

FAQ

Hyundai i10 tuning FAQ

Which i10 engine is yours: the 1.0 at 67 hp or the 1.25 at 87 hp?

Both engines are second-generation, from 2013 to 2019. The 67 hp 1.0 also continues in the third generation from 2019, so check your car's year.

What does an i10 1.25 performance chip add?

Stock, the 1.25 has 87 hp and 121 Nm; with the GAN GA+ it rises to 97 hp and 136 Nm. The GAN GA+ brings up to 12% more power, plus up to 15% lower fuel consumption with an economical driving style. Those are catalog figures for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.

What does the GAN GA+ add to the i10 1.0?

The 1.0 goes from 67 hp and 95 Nm to 75 hp and 106 Nm with the GAN GA+.

Does the GAN GT for the 1.1 CRDi fit every generation?

Only the first-generation diesel takes it, because no later i10 had a diesel.

Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?

Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
