Each engine gets its own performance chip: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per performance chip and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone isn’t enough: in this generation, the same engine came with different horsepower ratings, each with its own calibration. Check the horsepower in your owner’s manual or vehicle documents and find the matching row.
Same badge, different factory power outputs in this generation:
Infiniti QX60 tune: what changes
More power and torque with no ECU flash and no new parts – the module only adjusts the engine sensor signals. Your factory warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Infiniti QX60 special
Infiniti QX60 tune for a three-row crossover
The 3.5 V6 is the engine that matters, and the question is what a plug-and-play performance chip adds to it. The QX60 is a home-market Infiniti for American drivers, sold new in the U.S. since the 2014 model year. Infiniti builds it in Smyrna, Tennessee, so there is nothing to import.
QX60 performance chip: which engine is yours
Early cars carry the JX35 badge: the first generation arrived in 2012 and wore that name until 2013. The VQ35DE, the first-generation 3.5 V6 with a CVT, is listed at 265 hp and 336 Nm. In the catalog, the later direct-injection VQ35DD (after the 2016 model year) is listed at 299 hp and 366 Nm. In the U.S. the later 3.5-liter V6 is rated at 295 hp, a few hp under the catalog's 299 hp row, so use that row for a 295 hp car. The second generation arrived in 2021, keeps the VQ35DD and adds a nine-speed automatic.
Neither V6 is turbocharged: both are naturally aspirated. The QX60 Hybrid arrived for the 2014 model year with a supercharged 2.5-liter QR25DER and an electric motor. In the catalog the 2.5h row is 231 hp and 330 Nm, the gas engine on its own. 250 hp is the combined system output. Every QX60 engine in the catalog takes the GAN GA+. Check your owner's manual or vehicle documents for the model year and rated output, then match the row.
CVT and nine-speed: what the performance chip leaves alone
A GAN performance chip doesn't touch the transmission, whether it's the CVT of the first generation or the nine-speed automatic of the second. The CVT's response under hard acceleration is a common QX60 talking point. The module adjusts engine signals and leaves the transmission software alone. From the 2025 model year the 3.5 V6 gives way to a 2.0 turbo, so check the table before ordering for a newer car. The 2025 U.S. QX60 runs the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder, rated at 268 hp.
Infiniti QX60 tuning FAQ
How much power does a QX60 tune add on the 3.5 V6?
Pick by generation: 265 hp and 336 Nm through the 2016 model year, then 299 hp and 366 Nm. A 299 hp car reaches 323 hp and 395 Nm with the performance chip. Expect up to 12% more power from a GAN GA+, as a stated rating for this engine type and not a dyno result from your car.
Is there a performance chip for the QX60 Hybrid?
Yes. The catalog row is the 2.5h, 231 hp and 330 Nm from the supercharged 2.5-liter engine alone. The 250 hp system figure counts the electric motor too. The U.S. Hybrid pairs a supercharged 2.5-liter gas engine with an electric motor, so it is not a naturally aspirated 2.5.
Does it matter that my QX60 is a U.S.-spec car?
Go by the engine code and the model year, not by where the car was sold. The GAN module sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals, so the factory software, checksums and flash counter stay untouched. It plugs into the existing connectors and comes off again in about a minute.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
