Each engine gets its own performance chip: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per performance chip and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone isn’t enough: in this generation, the same engine came with different horsepower ratings, each with its own calibration. Check the horsepower in your owner’s manual or vehicle documents and find the matching row.
Same badge, different factory power outputs in this generation:
Mitsubishi Outlander III tune: what changes
The module plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. It never rewrites your ECU software: your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Mitsubishi Outlander III special
Mitsubishi Outlander 3 tune: U.S. gas engines, and a European gas and diesel pair at 150 hp
Mitsubishi sold the third-generation Outlander in the U.S. for model years 2014 through 2020, and the 2022 Outlander is the fourth generation. In the U.S., the ES, SE and SEL carried a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter four-cylinder, while the GT had a naturally aspirated 3.0-liter V6. The U.S. GT's V6 was rated at 224 hp, which is the 230 hp row in the table. The European Outlander 3 (GF) offers two engines at 150 hp: the 2.0 MIVEC gas (4J11) and the 2.2 Di-D Clear Tec diesel (4N14). Torque differs sharply: 195 Nm from the gas engine, and 380 Nm (manual) or 360 Nm (automatic) from the diesel. Each version therefore needs its own tuner and delivers its own gain.
With the GAN GT the diesel climbs from 150 hp and 360 Nm to 194 hp and 464 Nm, which is 44 hp more. The gas 2.0 goes with the GAN GA+, and 150 hp becomes 168 hp. The PHEV is the third branch, offered in Europe from October 2013 until March 2022. Its gas engine is a 2.4 (135 hp, 211 Nm) from September 2018, and was a 2.0 (121 hp) before that. European sales of the Outlander 3 began in fall 2012; the diesel was dropped in 2018 and the gas 2.0 in October 2021.
Mitsubishi Outlander III tuning FAQ
Outlander 2.0 MIVEC or 2.2 Di-D: which gets more from a performance chip?
The diesel, because the GAN GT is rated at up to 30% more power and the GAN GA+ at up to 12%.
Outlander PHEV tuner: what does the GAN GA+ do with the 2.4 gas engine?
With the GAN GA+, the PHEV's 2.4 gas engine (135 hp, 211 Nm) reaches 151 hp and 236 Nm. They tell you nothing about the two electric motors or the combined 224 hp. The U.S. PHEV for 2018 through 2020 uses a 2.0-liter gas engine at 117 hp instead, so look at the 2.0h row, not the 2.4. They are rated gains for the engine type, not a dyno result from your car.
Outlander 2.2 Di-D, automatic or manual: does the module differ?
Only one 2.2 Di-D Clear Tec is in the catalog, at 150 hp and 360 Nm, and that is the automatic. The manual version, with 380 Nm as standard, has no catalog row. The module leaves the transmission software alone.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
