Each engine gets its own performance chip: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per performance chip and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone isn’t enough: in this generation, the same engine came with different horsepower ratings, each with its own calibration. Check the horsepower in your owner’s manual or vehicle documents and find the matching row.
Same badge, different factory power outputs in this generation:
Mitsubishi Pajero IV tune: what changes
The module plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. It never rewrites your ECU software: your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can be removed at any time.

3.2 DI-D 190 hp → 246 hp. The other engines gain +21 hp and up; check the table for each one.
- +111 Nmfor diesels
Diesels gain mostly torque: +80 to +111 Nm for towing and hauling.

What makes the Mitsubishi Pajero IV special
Pajero IV tune: a grey-import SUV with one diesel and several power ratings
Mitsubishi never sold the fourth-generation Pajero new in the U.S.; the U.S. Montero ended after the 2006 model year. Here a Pajero IV is a car never officially sold in the U.S., not a Montero generation. In Europe the Pajero IV (V80 and V90) has a single diesel, the 3.2 DI-D, but its output changed: 160 and 170 hp from 2007, 200 hp from 2009 and 190 hp from 2015. It is a 3,200 cc common-rail engine that Germany sold from February 2007 until 2018. Your car's year decides which figures apply. With the GAN GT, the 170 hp automatic of 2007–2009 goes to 218 hp.
The 200 hp version, built from January 2009 to August 2015, reaches 256 hp. The 190 hp version from 2015 reaches 246 hp. The 3.8 V6 with 250 hp, offered from 2007 to about 2010, takes the GAN GA+, rated at up to 12% more power, and reaches 280 hp and 368 Nm. Treat that 3.8 V6 as a non-U.S. specification: its 250 hp is not a U.S. factory rating. On a Pajero IV diesel, have the coolant Y-pipe inspected, since it can crack.
Mitsubishi Pajero IV tuning FAQ
Pajero IV 3.2 DI-D: is mine the 160, 170, 190 or 200 hp version?
The year separates them: 160 hp with the manual and 170 hp with the automatic from February 2007 to January 2009, then 200 hp from January 2009 to August 2015, then 190 hp from September 2015 to 2018.
Pajero IV towing: how much torque does the GAN GT add to the 3.2 DI-D?
On the 200 hp version, torque climbs from 441 Nm to 552 Nm. Those are the rated figures for this engine type, not a dyno result from your car.
Does a GAN performance chip affect DPF regeneration on the 3.2 DI-D?
The 3.2 DI-D has carried a particulate filter as standard since 2007. The factory ECU software runs the regeneration, and the GAN module never touches that software.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
