Each engine gets its own performance chip: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per performance chip and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone isn’t enough: in this generation, the same engine came with different horsepower ratings, each with its own calibration. Check the horsepower in your owner’s manual or vehicle documents and find the matching row.
Same badge, different factory power outputs in this generation:

More power and torque with no ECU flash and no new parts – the module only adjusts the engine sensor signals. Your factory warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Nissan Sentra special
Nissan Sentra tune: U.S. generations and the European counterparts
The Sentra has been sold in the U.S. for generations, including the 2013 to 2019 seventh generation and the eighth generation from 2020, in S, SV, SR, SL, SR Turbo and NISMO trims. Nissan never sold the Sentra in Europe under that name. The Almera N16 (2000 to 2006) was the comparable European car in that class. Until 2006 the Sentra was the export version of the Japanese Sunny; its European relatives were sold as the Sunny until 1995 and then as the Almera.
Since the 2013 model year the Sentra has been a rebadged Sylphy for the Americas and Asia, and Europe never got that car either. A Sentra tuner needs the engine code and the generation; the name alone does not tell you the engine. Most catalog figures match North American and Mexican specs, and for the two 1.6 versions the market and generation are unknown.
Sentra engines by generation
In the catalog, the 2000 to 2006 B15 is the 1.8 QG18DE at 127 hp and 175 Nm. The 2006 to 2012 B16 ran the 2.0 MR20DE. The SE-R and SE-R Spec V used the 2.5 QR25DE; the catalog lists the Spec V at 200 hp and 244 Nm. For the 2012 to 2019 B17, the catalog has the 1.8 MRA8DE at 130 hp and 173 Nm. From the 2017 model year the U.S. 1.8 is rated at 124 hp with the CVT and 130 hp with the manual, and 2013 to 2016 cars are rated at 130 hp, so compare your hp with the 130 hp row.
The B18 and B19, from 2019, carry the 2.0 MR20DD at 149 hp and 198 Nm. The current U.S. 2.0 is rated at 149 hp, the same figure as the catalog row. The 1.6 turbo in the 2017 to 2019 SR Turbo and NISMO is rated at 188 hp and has no row in the catalog yet. Generation code plus stated output points to one engine. In Europe the same class was the Almera, then the Tiida until 2011 and the Pulsar from 2014.
Nissan Sentra tuning FAQ
Sentra engine: is mine the 149 hp or the 130 hp?
The 2.0 at 149 hp comes with the B18 and B19 built since 2019. The 1.8 at 130 hp comes with the 2012 to 2019 B17.
How much more power does the Sentra 2.0 make, and what about the CVT?
The 2.0 is stock at 149 hp and 198 Nm; with the GAN GA+ it reaches 167 hp and 222 Nm. The GAN GA+ is rated at up to 12% more power. Those are rated gains for the engine type, not dyno results from your car. The module does not reprogram the transmission.
Did Europe get the Nissan Sentra?
Not under that name: the comparable European car was the Almera N16 of 2000 to 2006. The Tiida and then the Pulsar followed it in Europe.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
