Ram has sold the 1500 new in the U.S. through both the DS and the DT generations. A Ram 1500 performance chip starts with the truck itself: a full-size pickup built for North America, at plants in the USA and Mexico. Europeans get it through importers, and the truck is adapted to European standards there, with a towing limit of 3.5 tonnes.
KW Auto has been the official EU and EFTA importer of Dodge and Ram since 2017, and AEC Europe in Munich has handled the Ram since 2018. Before 2010 it was the Dodge Ram 1500; today it is just the Ram 1500. The DS, the fourth generation, ran from 2009 to 2018 and then carried on as the Ram 1500 Classic until 2024; the DT, the fifth generation, started with the 2019 model year.

With the GAN GA+, the catalog lists 427 hp and 596 Nm against the stock 395 hp and 552 Nm. This line is rated at up to 12% more power, and the Hemi stays inside that limit. Those are the stated gains for this engine type, not dyno results from your own truck.
Can a performance chip improve gas mileage on a Ram 1500?
With an economical driving style, the GAN GA+ line gives up to 15% lower fuel consumption. For this truck, that means the 5.7 Hemi on the GAN GA+.
What about the Pentastar 3.6 V6, the Hurricane 3.0 or the TRX?

Does the GAN module change the mechanics of the 5.7 Hemi?
No. The GAN tuning module only adjusts the engine sensor signals, so it can't remove a mechanical cause. The module plugs into the existing connectors, and it comes off in about a minute.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
