Suzuki S-Presso tune: what changes

More power and torque with no ECU flash and no new parts – the module only adjusts the engine sensor signals. Your factory warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Suzuki S-Presso special

Suzuki S-Presso performance chip: can the 1.0 be tuned?

Maruti Suzuki builds the S-Presso for India, South Africa, Nigeria, Indonesia and other markets across Africa and Asia, not for Europe. Suzuki has not sold it in the United States, so any S-Presso here is an independent import. Owners of an imported S-Presso ask two things: can it be tuned, and how do you get stronger acceleration?

The catalog lists one engine for the S-Presso, the 1.0-liter K10B at 68 hp: three cylinders, variable valve timing and no factory turbo. As a naturally aspirated gas engine, it takes the GAN GA+, not the turbo GAN GT. The later K10C Dualjet, at 67 hp with two injectors per cylinder, has no row of its own in the catalog.

FAQ

Suzuki S-Presso tuning FAQ

S-Presso 1.0 tuner: how much power does the GAN GA+ add?

The catalog starts the engine at 68 hp and shows 76 hp with the GAN GA+ fitted. On a naturally aspirated 1.0 like this one, the GAN GA+ is rated at up to 12% more power. That is the rated gain for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.

Can I get a turbo S-Presso?

No. The catalog has no turbo S-Presso. Every S-Presso shares that same 1.0 engine, and none comes turbocharged from the factory.

Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?

Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
