What makes the Chery Arrizo special
Chery Arrizo tune: the Arrizo 7 engine
Searches for Chery Arrizo 8, 6 Pro and 5 tuning land here, but this page covers a single engine: the one in the Arrizo 7. Chery has never sold new cars in the U.S., so its engines here are non-U.S.-market units. Built in Wuhu, China, from 2013 to 2018, the Arrizo 7 is a compact sedan. No official availability in Europe is documented.
The 1.6 ACTECO gasoline engine (125 hp, 160 Nm) takes the GAN GA+. It came with a five-speed manual or a CVT. No catalog entry exists for the later Arrizo 7 1.5 turbo (147 hp, 220 Nm). The Arrizo 5 has its own page.

What does the GAN GA+ performance chip add to a Chery Arrizo 1.6?
The engine goes from 125 hp and 160 Nm to 140 hp and 179 Nm. Those are rated gains for this engine type, not a dyno result from your car. A naturally aspirated engine like this one is rated up to 12% more power. Think of that as a ceiling, not a promise.
Chery Arrizo 8 Stage 1 or a plug-in performance chip: is there a GAN module for it?
Neither the Arrizo 8 nor the Arrizo 6 Pro is in the catalog. Stage 1 is often how a flash tune is sold: it changes the ECU program. The GAN module leaves that program alone.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
