What makes the Cupra Leon special
Cupra Leon tune: check the engine, not the name
Cupra Leon covers many versions, so pick the GAN module by engine. The catalog lists the 2.0 TSI DSG at 190 hp and 320 Nm. Cupra has not marketed the Leon in the U.S., so a Cupra Leon here is a European-market car with no U.S. trim or model-year naming. Cupra offered that version in Germany from October 2022 to December 2023, and the 2024 facelift dropped it.
The 300 hp VZ, the e-Hybrid and the 2.0 TDI are different engines, so the row above does not apply to them. The earlier SEAT Leon Cupra (5F) is a different car. The Cupra Leon KL is the one built on the Leon IV from 2020. On a DSG car, a flash tune can upset shifting when the transmission isn’t recalibrated with the engine; the GAN module leaves the transmission software alone.

The GAN GT takes it from 190 hp and 320 Nm to 230 hp and 387 Nm. Those are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno result for your car.
Does the same gain apply to a Cupra Leon VZ or e-Hybrid?
No. Choose by engine and stock hp, not by the Cupra Leon name; a VZ or an e-Hybrid needs its own row.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
