What makes the Dodge Challenger special
Dodge Challenger tune: V6 or Hemi V8
The third-generation Challenger is a rear-wheel-drive coupe built from 2008 to 2023. Dodge ended Challenger production after the 2023 model year. Two versions are the main ones for a GAN performance chip: the SXT with the 3.6 V6 and the R/T with the 5.7 Hemi V8. Both take the GAN GA+, rated at up to 12% more power: the 3.6 starts at 305 hp and the 5.7 at 372 to 381 hp.
The U.S. 5.7 is rated at 372 to 376 hp depending on year and transmission, so match yours by hp. The biggest engine in the catalog is the 6.4 Hemi of the SRT 392 and the Scat Pack, at 485 hp. There is no separate Challenger row for the supercharged Hellcat; the same engine is listed under the 6.2i of the Dodge Charger/Magnum.

Challenger SRT 392 performance chip: how much more power does the 485 hp car get?
The GAN GA+ lifts the 6.4 Hemi from 485 hp and 644 Nm to 524 hp and 696 Nm. Those are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno result for your car.
Challenger SRT8 6.1 or the 3.5 V6: which GAN module do they take?
Both take the GAN GA+. The catalog lists the 6.1 Hemi of the 2008–2010 SRT8 at 425 hp and the early 3.5 V6 at 250 hp, both U.S. SAE ratings. The 6.1 SRT Hemi isn’t the same engine as the later 6.4 Hemi, so don’t use one row for the other.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
