Is there a module for the gasoline Geely Starray and Coolray?
Not yet. Both run a 1.5 turbo at 174 hp and 290 Nm, and the 1.5 turbo has no row in the catalog.
Geely Atlas I tuner: which module fits the 1.8T, the 2.0 or the 2.4?
The Atlas I, with the 1.8T, 2.0 and 2.4, belongs to other markets and was never sold in Europe. The turbo 1.8T takes the GAN GT. The 2.0 and 2.4 have no turbo, so they take the GAN GA+. On the Atlas I 1.8T, 184 hp and 285 Nm become 223 hp and 345 Nm with the GAN GT. Those are the catalog gains for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
What about the Monjaro, the EX5 and the Starray EM-i?
The Monjaro 2.0T (238 hp in the catalog) is a car for other markets. It hasn't been sold in Europe, and its first European version is a plug-in hybrid. The EX5 and EX2 are electric: no combustion engine, nothing for the performance chip to work with. The Starray EM-i pairs a 1.5 gasoline engine (99 hp) with a 218 hp electric motor, and that 1.5 isn't in the catalog.
Plug-in performance chip or flash tune on a Geely: what stays untouched?
A flash tune rewrites the factory software. The GAN module sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals instead. The factory software, checksums and flash counter all stay as they were, and the engine keeps its factory protections. The ECU software is never changed, so your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can come off at any time.
Does the GAN module affect my Geely factory warranty?
No. The module doesn’t change the ECU software and can be removed at any time, so your factory warranty is preserved. On top of that, GAN gives its own engine warranty: 2 years with the GAN GT, 1 year with the GAN GTL.

A flash tuner rewrites the maps in your ECU, and the flash counter records it. The GAN module adjusts the sensor signals instead: the ECU stays in factory condition, and you can return the car to stock in about a minute.
Geely engines: what to know before you tune
Geely tune: what is sold, and where
Geely doesn't sell new cars through a dealer network in the U.S. That means no official U.S. model names, trims or model years for the Emgrand, Atlas, GC, Monjaro or Tugella. Geely came back to Europe in 2025 with the electric EX5, and the Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid followed in 2026. That return is where a Geely tune starts. The Starray EM-i is aimed at Western Europe: a 99 hp gasoline engine plus a 218 hp electric motor, 262 hp combined. It reached Germany, Spain and the Benelux countries on March 25 and 26, 2026.
The electric EX5, badged E5 in Germany, is sold in Greece, the Balkans and Italy, and orders for the Starray EM-i opened in another market in February 2026. The gasoline Starray is the Boyue L in China and the Atlas II in the catalog. It goes to south-eastern Europe through the distributor SEEAG, with sales beginning in Serbia in December 2024 and Romania, Croatia and Greece on the list. Under the hood is a 1.5 turbo (174 hp, 290 Nm) built jointly with Volvo, plus a 2.0 turbo with four-wheel drive. The Coolray, the Binyue in China, uses the same 1.5 turbo and launched in Serbia in 2023, from where it spread to the neighboring markets.
Catalog models from other markets
The catalog covers the whole brand, so check which market your car comes from. Most of its cars come from other markets. The Atlas I, the Boyue in China, went to the Middle East, Latin America, Malaysia and Belarus. Engines on the Atlas I: the 1.8T, the 2.0 and the 2.4. The Emgrand EC7 (2009 to 2021) scored four stars in the European NCAP crash test in December 2011, though it was never sold in the EU.
Mitsubishi supplied its engines: a 1.5, a 1.8 and, from 2014, a 1.3 turbo. The GC9, also called the Borui or Emgrand GT, ran from 2015 to 2022 with a 1.8T (163 hp), a 2.4 (162 hp) and a 3.5 V6 (275 hp). The Monjaro (the Xingyue L in China) has not reached Europe yet, and its first European version is the Monjaro EM-i plug-in hybrid. Turbo gasoline engines take the GAN GT, with up to 30% more power. Naturally aspirated ones take the GAN GA+, with up to 12%.
