Performance Chip Tuning Haval
Up to 30% more power for your Haval
The Haval catalog lists 45 engines (models: 13, generations: 16). For 96% of the engines, there are the GAN GT (up to 30% more power) and GAN GTL (up to 25%) tuning modules; for 2 naturally aspirated engines, the GAN GA and GAN GA+ (up to 12%). Each engine’s figures are on its own page.
Haval performance chip: more power, no ECU flash
The GAN module sits between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. Unlike a flash tuner, it doesn’t rewrite your ECU software: your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can be removed at any time.

Haval tuning FAQ
What does the GAN GA+ add to the first Haval H6 with the 2.0 diesel?
The first H6 diesel goes from 143 hp and 310 Nm to 160 hp and 347 Nm with the GAN GA+. Those are the catalog gains for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Haval Jolion tuner: does the Jolion Pro 1.5T at 177 hp work with the GAN GT?
The Jolion Pro sold in Germany is a turbo gasoline car making 177 hp. The catalog's Jolion rows are the 143 and 150 hp versions from other markets. The 177 hp 1.5 turbo of the German Jolion Pro has no row in the catalog.
Is there a module for the Haval H6 hybrid?
The German H6 hybrid isn't in the catalog yet. Its system output is 243 hp.
Plug-in performance chip or flash tune on a Haval 1.5T, and is it a stage 1?
A flash tune rewrites the factory software. The GAN module sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals instead. The factory software, checksums and flash counter stay as they were, and the engine keeps its factory protections. The ECU software is never changed, so your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can come off at any time.
Does the GAN module affect my Haval factory warranty?
No. The module doesn’t change the ECU software and can be removed at any time, so your factory warranty is preserved. On top of that, GAN gives its own engine warranty: 2 years with the GAN GT, 1 year with the GAN GTL.
Plug-in performance chip or flash tuner: which should I choose?
A flash tuner rewrites the maps in your ECU, and the flash counter records it. The GAN module adjusts the sensor signals instead: the ECU stays in factory condition, and you can return the car to stock in about a minute.
Haval engines: what to know before you tune
Haval H6 tune: two models and a hybrid in Europe
Haval has no official U.S. launch and no authorized U.S. lineup. You'll only meet the H6, Jolion, Dargo or H9 under their original-market badges, with no U.S. model years or trims. A Haval H6 tune starts with what the market actually offers. Germany sells the H6 hybrid and the Jolion Pro, and the H7 is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. The Jolion Pro reached Germany in February 2026 with one engine: a 1.5 turbo gasoline at 177 hp and 270 Nm, a seven-speed DCT, front-wheel drive, in Premium and Luxury trim. There is no hybrid Jolion there.
The third-generation H6 has been sold in Germany since December 2025 or January 2026, as a full hybrid only: a 150 hp 1.5 turbo, 243 hp system output, a two-speed hybrid transmission, front-wheel drive, Premium and Luxury trim. The German Jolion Pro and the H6 hybrid share a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine in different versions, while the announced H7 gets a 2.0 turbo gasoline engine as a full hybrid and as a plug-in hybrid. Great Wall Motor owns Haval. European badges read GWM Haval H6 and Haval Jolion Pro, and GWM dealers handle the sales.
The first H6 and its diesel
Europe first saw the H6 in 2013 as the Great Wall H6, assembled at Lovech in Bulgaria until 2017. Buyers in Bulgaria and Italy could get one, and Italian sales started in early 2014 through the importer Eurasia Motor Company; Germany never did. Under the hood: a 2.0 turbo diesel (GW4D20) with 143 hp and 310 Nm, a six-speed manual and front or four-wheel drive, in Star 4WD and Premium 4WD versions. The diesel met Euro 5. That diesel pairs with the GAN GA+.
Bulgarian press called it the Hover H6. A turbo gasoline engine like the 1.5 turbo goes with the GAN GT, up to 30% more power.

Haval models from other markets
The catalog goes beyond Europe: the Dargo, the F7 and the H9 are Haval models Europe never receives. Before you pick a module, check which market your car comes from and find its stock output in your documents.
Which Haval models are in the catalog
The catalog lists 13 models from Haval. The most engines are listed for the H6 (12), Dargo (8) and H5 (6). The biggest gain among the models is on the H5: up to +46 hp.
Naturally aspirated Haval engines
For 2 naturally aspirated engines from Haval, there’s the GAN GA+: up to 12% more power and up to 15% better fuel economy in ECO mode. It’s plug-and-play: you can install it yourself, in most cases in under 15 minutes.
How to find your Haval engine
Pick your model in the list above, then the generation by model year, and the engine by displacement and horsepower (see your owner’s manual or vehicle documents). The engine page shows the exact gain and the tuner price.
