Haval Jolion tune: three outputs under one badge
Haval has no official U.S. dealer network for the Jolion, so a car here is a non-U.S.-market car, sold abroad as the Jolion or the GWM Haval Jolion. Behind the 1.5T badge sit three different outputs, so a Haval Jolion tune depends on your car's year and market. Before the 2024 facelift the 1.5 turbo makes 150 hp and 220 Nm outside Europe; after it, 143 hp and 210 Nm.

What does the GAN GT give the Jolion 1.5T with 143 hp?
That version is sold outside Europe; the GAN GT moves it from 143 hp and 210 Nm to 184 hp and 271 Nm. Those are catalog figures for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Jolion performance chip: is the GAN module a stage 1 or a stage 2?
Neither one. The module works between the engine sensors and the ECU, adjusting their signals. The factory software, checksums and flash counter stay as they are.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
