Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone isn’t enough: in this generation, the same engine came with different horsepower ratings, each with its own calibration. Check the horsepower in your owner’s manual or vehicle documents and find the matching row.

Honda Accord VII tune: what changes
The module plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. It never rewrites your ECU software: your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Honda Accord VII special
Honda Accord 7th gen tune: the U.S. K24 and J30 first, then the European diesel
Honda sold the seventh-generation Accord in the U.S. for model years 2003 through 2007. The U.S. range was the Accord sedan and coupe, with trims from the DX to the EX-L V-6. In 2003 the U.S. 2.4-liter four-cylinder was rated at 160 hp and the 3.0 V6 at 240 hp, and the table below has a row for each. On a 2003 or 2004 V-6 Accord, have the automatic transmission checked before you add power. Which Accord VII gains more from a performance chip on the European side, the diesel or the gas engine?
A tune favors the diesel, even though it has the lowest stated output of the three engines. From 2002 to 2008 the European Accord VII came as the CL7, CL9 and CN1 sedan and the CM and CN Tourer wagon, with a 2.0 i-VTEC at 155 hp, a 2.4 i-VTEC at 190 hp and a 2.2 i-CTDi diesel at 140 hp. The diesel was Honda's first of its own and was sold in Europe only. It had a five-speed manual until 2006 and a six-speed after that year's facelift. The Tourer wagon followed in spring 2003 with the same engines.
What each Accord VII engine gains with a GAN performance chip
The 2.2 i-CTDi diesel gains 41 hp and 93 Nm with the GAN GT. With the GAN GA+, the 2.0 i-VTEC gains 19 hp and 23 Nm and the 2.4 i-VTEC gains 23 hp and 26 Nm. That makes the diesel's gain more than double the 2.0 gas engine's, even though it starts from the lower figure.
Honda Accord VII tuning FAQ
Accord 2.2 i-CTDi: how much more power does the GAN GT bring?
Stock, the diesel makes 140 hp and 340 Nm, and the catalog puts it at 181 hp and 433 Nm with the GAN GT. The figures hold for the five-speed and the six-speed transmission, and the module does not reprogram the transmission. Those are the rated figures for this engine type, not a dyno result from your car.
What does a GAN performance chip add to the Accord VII 2.0 and 2.4 i-VTEC?
Both engines are naturally aspirated, so they take the GAN GA+. Its rating is up to 12% more power, and both catalog gains land close to that limit. In the U.S. these engines go by their codes, the K24 for the 2.4 and the J30 for the 3.0 V6.
Does the Accord Tourer wagon change anything?
No, the Tourer has the same engines as the European sedan, so the same figures apply.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
