Each engine gets its own performance chip: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per performance chip and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone isn’t enough: in this generation, the same engine came with different horsepower ratings, each with its own calibration. Check the horsepower in your owner’s manual or vehicle documents and find the matching row.

Jeep Renegade tune: what changes
The module plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. It never rewrites your ECU software: your factory warranty is preserved, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Jeep Renegade special
Jeep Renegade tune: before and after September 2018
The Renegade got a new engine range in September 2018, so Renegade tuning splits into two eras. Pick the era first. On a first-series car, the engine decides the performance chip, not the trim. In the U.S., the Renegade was sold new for the 2015 through 2023 model years, in Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk trims. The first Renegade, the BU built from October 2014 to August 2018, had the 1.6 E.torQ at 110 hp and 152 Nm. The 1.4 MultiAir Turbo came in a 140 hp version with 230 Nm and a 170 hp version with 250 Nm. The U.S. 1.4 Turbo is rated at 160 hp, which falls between the 140 and 170 rows (metric figures), so it has no exact row; confirm it with GAN before you order.
Only the 170 hp car came with four-wheel drive and an automatic. The diesels were the 1.6 MultiJet at 120 hp and 320 Nm, and the 2.0 MultiJet at 140 hp or 170 hp, both with 350 Nm and four-wheel drive. The 1.6 MultiJet at 95 hp, sold from March 2017, is not in the catalog. In this catalog the 120 hp 1.6 MultiJet is listed as the 1.6 CRD. Of all these engines, only the 1.6 E.torQ is naturally aspirated.
What changed in 2018
The facelift dropped the 1.4 MultiAir and the 1.6 E.torQ and brought in the three-cylinder 1.0 FireFly T3 at 120 hp and 190 Nm. The 1.3 FireFly T4, at 150 hp or 180 hp with 270 Nm either way, is not in the catalog. The U.S. 1.3 Turbo is rated at 177 hp and has no row in the catalog yet. The 1.6 MultiJet at 120 hp and the 2.0 MultiJet at 140 hp and 170 hp stayed in the range until August 2020.
Catalog versions with a 1.8 or 2.4 gas engine, a 150 hp 1.4 turbo or a 120 hp 2.0 MultiJet are not part of the European range. The U.S. 2.4 Tigershark is naturally aspirated, so it takes the GAN GA+ like the 2.4i rows in the catalog. A 1.6 MultiJet at 130 hp was sold from January 2021 to March 2022. After that the Renegade has no diesel. Trailhawk is a trim, not an engine.
Jeep Renegade tuning FAQ
Jeep Renegade tune: how much does the 2.0 MultiJet 170 add?
On the GAN GT, the 2.0 MultiJet 170 rises from 170 hp and 350 Nm to 218 hp and 447 Nm. The GAN GT is rated at up to 30% more power, and the GAN GA+ on the 1.6 E.torQ at up to 12%. Those are stated gains for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Renegade 1.4 Turbo: the 140 hp row or the 170 hp row?
Go by your car's output, and keep in mind that the 170 hp version has four-wheel drive and an automatic. The GAN GT fits both.
Does the Renegade 1.0 T3 have a performance chip?
Yes. The 1.0 FireFly T3 at 120 hp and 190 Nm takes the GAN GT. The U.S. range used the 1.4 turbo, the 2.4 and the 1.3 turbo, so a 1.0 T3 means a car from another market.
Is there a GAN performance chip for the Renegade 4xe or e-Hybrid?
The 4xe plug-in hybrid from July 2020 and the 1.5 e-Hybrid from March 2022 are not in the catalog.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU flash tune without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
